Spending part of your degree abroad is an amazing opportunity to make international friends; embrace a different culture; travel to exciting places; and gain real world experience. The personal, academic and professional rewards are endless.
There are opportunities for current Gloucestershire students to study or work abroad for a semester or even a year. We currently have opportunities in Belgium/ Canada/ Czech Republic/ France/ Germany/ Netherlands/ New Zealand/ Spain/ Sweden/ and the United States.
If you want to study in Europe you may be eligible to receive additional funding.
We are an Erasmus+ Charter Higher Education Institution, therefore, students who study with one of our European partners in specific subject areas may be eligible to receive funding to contribute to the costs of living abroad. Study must allow the student to earn credit as part of their degree. Students typically study for 6 months to a year. Students gain credits for their study abroad as usual (60 CAT points per semester).
NB: You can only receive Erasmus+ funding for a total of 12 months in any degree cycle. This includes any work placement funding.
